If you need to add more information to a task description or highlight specific parts of the text, you can use more advanced formatting options.
We use the Markdown syntax to convert the text you type, into formatted text like you'd see in a word document or news article online. (Here's a website where you can play around and see how markdown converts from the syntax to the end result)
Below are a list of styles which we support, you can see the example output underneath on a screenshot of a task:
# Heading Style 1
## Heading style 2
### Heading style 3
#### Heading style 4 (same as style 3)
##### Heading style 5 (same as style 3)
###### Heading style 6 (same as style 3)
Here's a line for us to start with.
This line is separated from the one above by two newlines, so it will be a *separate paragraph*.
Emphasis, aka italics, with *asterisks* or _underscores_.
Strong emphasis, aka bold, with **asterisks** or __underscores__.

Inline `code` has `back-ticks around` it, it doesn't have to be code, you can use it to highlight things too.
```This is a "code block", but can be useful for calling out content
Hey look at this
Or this bit on a new line!
> Blockquotes are very handy too
> This line is part of the same quote.
> This is a very long line that will still be quoted properly when it wraps. Oh boy let's keep writing to make sure this is long enough to actually wrap for everyone.
