What are default business hours?
Default business hours are the standard operating hours that most sites in your estate adhere to. For example, 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday. As an admin, you have the ability to set default hours for the sites to use before they change their business hours to be site-specific.
By applying your default business hours using Company Settings, the hours chosen will be used by existing sites that are currently not using site-specific hours, and any newly added sites will have those hours applied when the site is created.
What are the benefits of adding default business hours?
Default business hours can ensure all teams work on a unified schedule, promoting consistency throughout your estate.
Applying this setting can reduce the amount of time and admin needed when adding new sites.
Using this feature can also provide a good starting point for your team to be able to set their custom business hours as the day is already organised for them, they can then adjust their opening/closing time accordingly without having to adjust all of their hours.
How do I set up my default business hours?
💡 Note: Only admin-level users will be able to make these changes.
Click on the company name in the top right corner of any page to open your admin navigation.
Go to 'Company Settings'
Adjust the time slots to suit your business hours
If some sites operate on different hours, set the most common times here and you can adjust the others at a site level later
Any changes here will automatically affect all sites unless a site's business hours have been manually updated
