Overview
Use this task template to send a scheduled temperature log daily at 9am and 5pm from any fridges or freezers set up with a Labl.it sensor.
For this task, you’ll need:
Trail Standard Plan - upgrade in billing if needed.
An account with Labl.it
Hardware: Sensors, range extender...
How to set it up
1. Head to your Trail Integrations library
Add the labl.it: Fridge/Freezer Temps task template from the Automated section to your tasks and make sure it’s Published.
If you want, you can edit the Checklist or Record Log fields before you publish (you can come back and do this anytime).
Note: The task description cannot be edited in Trail for this task template.
2. Request your Trail API key
You’ll find this in your Company Settings.
API keys allow apps to talk to one another - in this case, it'll be Trail and Labl.it.
The key is specific to each user. Just as you wouldn't share your password, you shouldn't share your API key.
3. Connect Trail to Labl.it
This will be handled by the team at Labl.it - you just need to share your API key and the information for your Trail task template (set up in step 1).
