On the User Roles & Permissions page, you can select multiple users to bulk update the site they are assigned to, or their role & permissions. Updating users in bulk allows you to save time when making changes to your teams.
How do I bulk update user roles for my team?
Click your company name in the top right-hand corner of Trail and head to the Users & Permissions page.
Use the checkboxes next to each user, or click 'Select All', to choose the users you want to update, keeping in mind that only one role can be assigned at a time (e.g., upgrading Team Members to Managers).
π‘ Note: You can't select yourself. Archived users are not available for selection when they are archived; they must be restored before changes can be made.
Click 'Assign Role' and select the new role for the user(s).
Press 'Yes, assign role' to confirm your choices or 'No, cancel' to cancel.

Why is the 'Assign Sites' button unavailable?
If an admin is part of your selection when choosing to assign sites, the 'Assign sites' button will be unavailable. Admins already have access to all sites due to their permissions, so they can't be bulk assigned to specific sites.
Why can't I select multiple sites when bulk assigning?
Team-level users can only be assigned to a single site due to their permissions. If your bulk selection contains a team-level user, you can only assign the selected users to a single site.
