On Trail, there's no limit to the number of users included in your subscription. That means that every member of the team, or even just more senior members, can have their own login to the system.

Are there any benefits to individual logins?

Plenty! Unique logins for individual team members enhance security, reduce the risk of unauthorised access, and improve access control for Admins. Users can be added or removed as needed, and their permissions reviewed and edited accordingly. This ensures that users only access relevant information and can perform necessary actions.

Individual Logins for Accountability

The main benefit of individual logins in Trail is accountability. While many of our customers thrive using shared Team and Manager logins, some worry that accountability may lapse without clear ownership.

With individual logins, you gain the added benefit of knowing exactly which team member completed a task and when.

What's more, individual items on a checklist-style task will be stamped by the users who completed item.

You'll even be able to see exactly which member of the team left a task comment.

And of course, all of these details are available to you on the Task Reports page, making it easy to identify those members of your team who are going above and beyond or those that could use a hand.

To get started, just head to the Users & Permissions page from your Main Settings and hit 'New User.' Remember, each user will need a unique email! For more on roles and users, check out our article on managing users.
