Structure your team's daily tasks using drag & drop on the Manage Tasks page. You can choose the order your team completes tasks, following the flow of your business day - whether that's prepping before cooking, opening procedures before customer service, or any other logical flow that works for your business.
This can help you manage resources efficiently, avoid bottlenecks, and create a smoother experience for both your team and customers by putting the right tasks at the right time.
How do I reorder my tasks?
Head to the Manage Tasks page.
Use drag and drop to sort your daily tasks into your preferred completion order.
Once a task has been dropped into place, it will be saved.
This order will appear for your teams on their Complete Tasks page.
π‘ Note: High-priority tasks can only be reordered amongst other high-priority tasks. Otherwise, they'll appear at the top of their assigned time slot. Learn more about high-priority tasks here.
Why can't I reorder a task?
You will not be able to reorder tasks if:
You're using a mobile device - this is currently a desktop-only feature.
The task has an all-day, multiple, ad-hoc, automated, or one-off schedule.
There's only one task within a time slot.
You're trying to move a high-priority task amongst normal-priority tasks (high-priority tasks can only be ordered amongst other high-priority tasks).
Tasks can only be reordered within their current time slots (e.g. Before Open), if they need to be reordered into a different time slot, they will have to be rescheduled first.
Why aren't my changes showing on the Complete Tasks page?
If your teams have already started completing today's tasks, any changes you make will appear on tomorrow's Complete Tasks page instead.
