Whether you're looking to view how your teams are doing at a glance or get into the details of what has been done, our Reports Tab can help.

Our Reports page is set out in three handy tabs:

The Site Scores Page - Review the scores of all sites, scores are out of ten and are presented in a traffic light system (red, amber, green), based on completing tasks on time. You can learn more about how our Site Scores are calculated here and read more about spotting trends with scores here.

The Task Reports Page - Review the tasks your teams have been completing using the filters to create customisable detailed reports, which can be exported via PDF or CSV.

You can learn more about how Task Reports work here and read more about spotting trends with Task Reports here.

The Activity Feed - Review Task Completion Notifications and Daily and Weekly Digests in one feed. You can learn more about the Activity Feed here.

What additions can I make to Trail to make reporting easier?

Tags - Tags can be assigned to tasks to help categorise them, teams can then filter by tags on their Complete Tasks page to streamline their view of tasks to complete. Or tags can be used when looking at reporting, for example, tagging the tasks which belong to different departments (e.g., Front & Back of House). Applying these tags alongside other filters allows for a detailed view of a team's completed tasks. Tags can also be used when looking at the Site Scores page. You can learn more about creating and managing Tags here.

Areas - Areas allow sites to be organised into groups. This is especially useful with larger organisations that have many sites, as areas can be used as a filter for reporting. When selecting the 'Sites' filter, the areas sites have been assigned into will be available at the top of the list. You can learn more about creating and managing Areas here.

Custom Roles - Custom roles with unique permission combinations can be created and assigned to users. Once users have these custom roles assigned, these can be used to filter completed tasks by the custom role. You can learn more about creating and managing Custom Roles here.

Exceptions - You can filter by exception for tasks where things don't quite go to plan, for a quick view of anything which might require further action. You can learn more about what is classed as an exception and how they work here.

What are the benefits of reviewing tasks centrally?

Using our Reports Tab can help you gain valuable insights into how your team are completing tasks and their productivity, including identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Our filters in Task Reports can be used to monitor individual and team performance, by selecting to view completed tasks at an area level, site level, or by looking at a role, tag or user level.

Using the filters Task Reports you can build detailed reports, whether you're looking to gain a broad snapshot of the business or looking for a specific task.
