When using Trail, time stamps are added to completed tasks, checklist items and records when using Record Logs. You can learn more about time stamping in Trail here.

What are the benefits of time stamping?

Time & date stamps provide verifiable proof of compliance tasks being completed on time & on schedule, proving your compliance to any internal or external auditors & enabling you to highlight any issues that a site, team or individual might be having.

Additionally, time & date stamps drive a culture of accountability & responsibility within teams; making it clear to users & admins alike when a task was updated, completed or missed, and by who.

Time stamps also allow for deeper analysis of task completion trends over time, by reviewing when tasks were completed admins could identify patterns and areas of improvement.

For example, if there is a task which is consistently completed late, it may be worth looking into when the task is scheduled for completion and reviewing with your team when a more realistic time frame for completing that task would be.
